Programmable Web environment for multimedia applications

چکیده
There has always been a need for dynamically changing the application behavior quickly and easily, according to how we want it to behave with no or less implementation code change. The application needs to change its behavior dynamically depending on the current resources available in the network and at the client thus making it to behave more efficiently and more intelligently giving better performance. This is especially important for multimedia applications, where the media (textlandiokideo) to be delivered can be chosen depending on the available network and the client resources. The media that takes up the minimum resources has to be chosen for delivery. Load balancing among the participating servers is also an issue to solve in order to increase application performance thus reducing the network traffic. Multimedia applications wouldn’t perform well under heavy server or network load conditions.
